If your husband's ex-wife has moved in with a new boyfriend, that might be a change of circumstances that would warrant a modification of the alimony.

It all depends on the facts and circumstances of the situation. Every case is different. I would suggest that you visit with an attorney. Why don't you call me for a free consultation?

my ex and i have been separated almost 2 years and i want to move back to texas, but we have equal rights to our son right now and equal visitation. Would it be difficult to get primary custody of our child to take him to texas with me?

My husband was married for 22 years to his first wife - he was ordered to pay her $1,500 a month for alimony for 7 years. My question is, now she is moving in with her boyfriend so her bills are now less (since they are both paying half of the bills) can he petition to have the alimony stopped or have it lowered? They live in Colorado Springs (she does he lives in MA with me).

Both kids are grow and out of the house. He has already paid 3 years of alimony with 4 years left (last payment would be Sept. 2015).
